This wonderful resort, which is definitely a sanctuary for the soul, is located on the equally wonderful island of Santorini, more specifically, in a village called Imerovigli, north of Thira and perched a top a cliff. With a history of over 300 years, Imerovigli was one of the most picturesque settlements of Santorini until about the mid 1950s. Having recently been refurbished, the complex of traditional dwellings and houses, typical of the island’s unique architecture, welcomes us with state of the art personal services.
They wanted to put much emphasis on the lobby area, because of the fact that it’s a client’s first impression upon entering the space. It had to, then, present a very good first image, as well as the kitchen area did, having to change from a space meant for a breakfast and coffee to a more special area, where people could rest comfortably. Thus, a large yellow kitchen was built, with a large table where people can gather and relax.
The living room is populated by leather furniture and wooden tables with a retro touch that have as companion a thick wooden dining room table, itself coupled with leather chairs. These spaces are linear, clean, and clear.
