The facade is about 40 meters long and faces the main street. In order to deal with the tropical climate aspect of the area of construction, the main surface of the house is slightly angled to create shade from the sun rather than relying only on the flat surface that faces the sun. Aluminum windows also do their part of the job, allowing natural light to enter the house, which was a wonderfully thought out option, as it makes it looks large and bright.
The design and location of the villa’s pool was an important aspect of the general design of the residence, as this provides a stimulating experience for the occupant, who has views of the beach area which can be seen from the pool itself, or from the adjacent roofed area.
The lobby employs a type of pool effect, where the visitors can “submerge themselves” underneath the water. In order to create this effect, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overhead, looping around the lobby, defining different mini-areas within the lobby.
