It has lovely stone walls that make it blend with the surrounding landscape – a landscape characterized by the greenery of its vegetation and its lush trees, the latter of which provide shade and refresh the space.
Drawing this void was the start to the whole project, with its form being strongly determined when the natural light, coming from the terrace, bathes the whole interior.
The lobby employs a type of pool effect, where the visitors can “submerge themselves” underneath the water. In order to create this effect, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overhead, looping around the lobby, defining different mini-areas within the lobby.
Its design is based mainly on its modern furniture, done in gray and white tones with added pops of color in red. Perhaps the most striking aspect of its living room is the beautiful wood that covers one of its walls, where the fireplace is located, as well as the fabulous bookshelf located at the far end and which has a TV area – a perfect place to spend time reading a good book.
This coastal villa is located in the town near a highway on the eastern coast of Chennai, the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu—one of the biggest cultural, economic, and educational centers in southern India—off the Bay of Bengal. It was designed in 2017 and covers a total area of 544 square meters.
