Combining traditional Cycladic architecture with contemporary minimalism, the hotel’s rooms and suites welcome guests in a refined atmosphere, with tasteful furnishings, state of the art amenities, and breathtaking views across the famous caldera.
In order to achieve this, a design was created that consisted of a solid plane that protects the residence from the southern heat, while the western face contains the villa’s private spaces—namely, the bedrooms. The remainder of the villa is divided into different spaces, which include semi-private spaces.
It took passion, inspiration and meticulous work from some people who decided to unearth the destroyed homes and restore them to the old glory of Imerovigli to shine again, getting spectacular results.
This fantastic villa is located in the rocky cliffs of Es Cubells on the famous island of Ibiza, which located in the Mediterranean Sea and composes, alongside Mallorca, Menorca, Formentera, and several smaller islets, the archipelago and Autonomous Community of the Islands Baleares in Spain. An island of coasts with turquoise waters and steep cliffs, traditional villages with an unusual tranquility, and the most beautiful sunsets of the Mediterranean, it is the ideal place to seek a relaxing atmosphere.
The lobby employs a type of pool effect, where the visitors can “submerge themselves” underneath the water. In order to create this effect, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overhead, looping around the lobby, defining different mini-areas within the lobby.
