The client had a number of different requirements by which the villa had to abide. These included items such as being able to enjoy both semi-private and private spaces, as well as employing the sea’s breeze without necessarily having direct access to the beaches.
The design and location of the villa’s pool was an important aspect of the general design of the residence, as this provides a stimulating experience for the occupant, who has views of the beach area which can be seen from the pool itself, or from the adjacent roofed area.
A modern white sofa with cushions in light tones, the same ones that have been used in the rest of the decoration, is accompanied by small hexagonal tables and a large TV cabinet that, at the same time, works as a storage area. This is because the small rooms always look for the best way to take advantage of every space and make it both functional and comfortable.
Drawing this void was the start to the whole project, with its form being strongly determined when the natural light, coming from the terrace, bathes the whole interior.
This modern residence, an example of design in a very tropical climate country, is located in a residential area of Bangkok, Thailand. in the year 2017 and covers a ground area of 1100 square meters.
